【定時制】アマモボランティアに参加しました

6月18日（日）に本校16名の生徒がアマモボランティアに参加しました。アマモボランティアは佐久島の海の自然を守るための保護活動の一環として、西尾市が20年以上にわたり、継続的に行っている活動です。生徒は、アマモを採取し、別の海場へのポットの設置、移植等いずれの作業も地元の方々と協力しながら、頑張る姿が見られました。自然を守っていくこと、自然と共存するということについて改めて考えることができた貴重な時間でした。

On June 18th (Sunday), 16 students from our school participated in the Amamo Volunteer program. The Amamo Volunteer program is an ongoing initiative by Nishio City for over 20 years to protect the natural marine environment of Saku Island. The students engaged in activities such as collecting Amamo (seagrass), installing and transplanting pots to different areas of the sea, and they worked alongside local residents. Their dedication and hard work were truly inspiring. It was a valuable time for the students to reflect on the importance of preserving nature and coexisting with it.
