愛知県のスピーチ大会で定時制生徒が２位！　Win the 2nd Prize at a Speech Contest

●10月3日（土）、第60回<定時制通信制>生徒生活体験発表会が、名古屋市教育会館と愛知県図書館で行われました。このスピーチ大会では、生徒がこれまでに学校生活で体験したことを発表します。
●出場校は31校、予選は3組に分かれ、各組の予選通過4校が本選に進みます。定時制からは、インドネシアにルーツをもつ生徒が参加しました。彼女は15歳で来日し、孤独な時期を経て、日本語に苦労しながら学習に励みました。

●スピーチでは、高校でいろいろな国から来た生徒たちと学び、学習指導員として外国ルーツの子どもたちの支援をし、大学進学という夢を見つけるまでの過程を振り返って発表しました。

●大学入試の準備もしながら、原稿を推敲し、夏休み明けから毎日スピーチ練習に励んできました。当日も聴く人の心をつかむ、堂々とした発表をすることができました。その結果、第2位に選ばれ、愛知県教育委員会賞をいただきました。おめでとう！

On October 3th, , a speech contest for part-time school and correspondance school students was held at Nagoya City Educational Hall and Aichi Prefectural Library. Students primarily give the speech about their experiences in the school life in this contest. 31 representatives took part in and the qualifying round was divided into 3 groups. Four representatives from each group were selected to give a speech in the final round.
From our school a student with roots in Indonesia joined the contest. She came to Japan when she was 15 and gave a speech about her experience – thriving to learn Japanese while crying a lot to be alone, learned with many foreign students at the high school and got a job as a language supporter to help foreign children and finally found her dream to study at the university.
She rewrote her speech manuscript many times and practiced every day after school while preparing for her university entrance exam. She was able to make a grand speech that caught the hearts of the audience. She got the 2nd prize -Aichi Board of Education Prize- out of 31 participants.
